Drive from Bundanoon to Wangaratta, Victorian ‘visa’ in hand.
This is a requirement of the Victorian Government due to Covid. Easy to get and is only needed to be produced when demanded by authorities. No checkpoint at the border. The weather has been awful and a 5 hour drive takes us around 7, driving to the conditions and taking a break at Gundagai for lunch (The Coffee Pedaler) and a couple of rest stops.
Painter’s Island Caravan Park is home for the next 3 nights. Quite comfy and a short walk (if it was walking weather) to town. Push on and go to the shops to buy some dinner, then flop!
